A small tutorial that will help you Testing New Items in TF2.

Hello to my Tutorial How to get Any Item/Hat in Team Fortress 2.

Programs Required :

CTXHack GCFScape

First of all open GCFScape.By the way, Download Link : http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?p=26

2.Open your Team Fortress 2 Content. 3.Go to TF>Scripts 4.Copy the "Items" Folder into your Original Team Fortress 2 Folder (Example : D:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps//team fortress 2/scripts) 5.Launch Items_Game 6.Search for the Weapon/Hat that you want. 7.When you find it Copy all the text in it besides the first number & the last number (example : 47,and at the end 48;don't copy them) 8.Paste the text over the weapon you have,but you don't really need. (Example : I don't use Force-A-Nature, so i will replace it with a hat.) 9. When you are finished,Save it. 10. Download CTXHack Download Link : http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=d6e96cfb3600ee636b21be4093fab7ace04e75f6e8ebb871

Copy the CTXHack's content into your Scripts Folder. (CTXHack's Files are : CTXHACKTF2 and vice.)
Launch CTXHACKTF2
Make sure you checked "Encode".
Click "Execute Every File"
When it's finished,turn on TF2.
Open Your Backpack and look at your replaced Item.

That's All Folks!

Notes : This don't work on Public Servers (You need to create one) This won't work on the Rebulid Headgear Blueprint.

This only works offline, you can't use it online and therefore will not be VAC banned.

1.VAC doesn't scan ctx's it is normally ignored by other servers(it wont work on other servers) 2. Absolutly not!(since it will only work on a server you create)

This works and all, but...you don't really get the hat, i mean in your own game it's on your head, but online it goes away. it still says you have it in your backpack, but what good is that. you can make scrap medal refined, but you can't craft. there really is no way to cheat the system man.

Can you get certain items like Bill's l4d hat? or Sam's revolver or Max's pistol?

It's just weird, I have to launch Items_Game, but you're not telling wether it's the .txt file or the .ctx file. The .ctx file is full of weird code if I open it in notepad, and there is no application to launch it. Doing it in the txt file doesn't work. What to do? I think you should make a video.
