How to see Pyro_Land's textures in yours maps !

i'll show you how to see the PyroVisions Textures in yours favorites maps

hi, today, i'll show u how to see these famous textures in yours favorites maps !! ^^ (i've founded that first )

however ... no one will see the textures unless you ...

1) Extract the MTP.cfg with GCFSCAPE from "cfg/mtp.cfg"

2) add a line like this before the "}" :

"MAP-NAME.bsp" "1"

(replace MAP-NAME.bsp with your map name, like trade_plaza.bsp)

it should be something like that

"VisionFilterShadersMapWhitelist"
{
"arena_badlands.bsp"    "1"
"ctf_2fort.bsp"  "1"
"cp_badlands.bsp"    "1"
"cp_dustbowl.bsp"    "1"
"cp_gravelpit.bsp"   "1"
"koth_badlands.bsp" "1"
"koth_viaduct.bsp"   "1"
"plr_hightower.bsp"  "1"
"pl_badwater.bsp"    "1"
"pl_goldrush.bsp"    "1"

}

3) place the MTP.CFG in

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\YOURACCOUNTNAME\team fortress 2\tf\cfg

then it WORK !! SD_MONKEYDAY_B3

    May need a batch script or other little program to modify the config file with new additions rather than overwrite each time.

    Would it not just be easier to get the mtp.cfg, set Windows (or your OS) to read it using Notepad (or similar program) and just copy-paste in the different map/line of code? That's what I used to do with adding L4D skins so it should work.

    anyway, it will not work for either, because the .CFG cannot be executed by the console ...

    when u write: "Exec MTP.cfg" u got that:

    ''Unknown command'' ... thats normal, its not a normal .CFG, it look like a script ..

    then, yea, if someone can make a program to read that in a server ... it would be really useful for everyone ... (i mean, a program which modify the file each time ... )

    Will that cfg file work packed into the BSP though? Local files sure, but it would be overwritten by any new map download and then only work for that single map.

    nah sry, I've tried to do that, but nothing happens ( i think TF2 load this file at the beginning of the game), all textures are normal ... its the only way to see these textures ... unfortunately ;(

    maybe Valve will add an entity to do that ? it would be cool ^^

    also the screen-overlay don't appair ...(i mean these strange bars at extremity of the screen )
