How To Use Any Spray You See In-Game

Ever seen a spray in-game, and wanted to use it/just have the file? Well, now you can!

1.Download VTFEdit from here:

http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?c=178

2.Go to: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\team fortress 2\tf\materials\temp". You will see many, many VTF files, depending on how many servers you've been on.

3.This is where it gets hard. You have to sort through all the VTF files till you find it. I would recommend, if you're looking for a more recent one, to sort it by "Date Modified". Also, it would probably be a good idea to use the VTF thumbviewer, which you can get from here:

http://gamebanana.com/tools/208

4.Have Fun! P.S.: If you want to use the VTF files as a spray, then just copy/paste them into:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\rampage470\team fortress 2\tf\materials\vgui\logos

TF2 will create a VMT file on startup.

It is so weird finding so many sprays in my temp. A lot of them were Pony related. Wow, I play a lot of TF2.

The sprays aren't in the list of sprays after I poot them into \team fortress 2\tf\materials\vgui\logos!

Hmm. It worked for me, but I'll look into it.

The VTF Thumbviewer would probably be more useful.

For seeing what they are, yeah. This is just for knowing where the sprays are on your computer. Although I think I'll add a note about that.
