Stupid Game

Well, Last night I was going to play some TF2 with Killer, when I turn the game on, I go to join the FPSB Rabid Wombat server, I go downstairs to get a drink. I come back a couple minutes later to find my computer had crashed and was rebooting. I attempted again but this time I stayed and watched, It would load until about __ That much was left in client info and it would crash the whole computer. I have been playing the thing since it came out and I don't know why it just started last night. I have tried to join other servers, but I get the same outcome. FPSB I come to you because I need HALP!!!!!

    Maybe your video card is overheating.

    Yea don't call TF2 a stupid game just because your computer is freaking out. i have had very annoying problems with my computer. but i usually re-install or tinker with options and it works eventually sorry i cant be of assistance =/

    F10 solves everything.

    And by F10, I mean upgrading your computer. It's probably your best bet.

    First off, Not everybody has the money to upgrade, and Second, I have been playing the game for over a month now and it hasn't done this once.

    Well, as Loyen has said, maybe the processor could be.. try putting your hand in the fan outcoming air and if it is not warm then maybe the fan isn't working as it should.. also if you're using any overclocking program for videocard that could be aswell.. or some unproper video card driver? huhu u.u

    Or you could even try underclocking the hardware if the problem persists. Turn your game settings down too.

    Change drivers, change video settings, try it in windowed, try a different dx level. Just change as much as you can one at a time and eventually you'll find something stable, that's what I had to do for CSS. Also if you're running two monitors try disabling one.
