Team Fortress 2

Hitsounds and Steampipe

The day of Steampipe going Live, I downloaded like twelve mods. Mostly skins, but three audio files: one to replace the end round faire of both loss and victory, and one for my hitsounds. I've gotten everything to work EXCEPT the hitsound mod. Is there something specific I need to do?

For reference, this is the mod I'm trying to get working: http://tf2.gamebanana.com/sounds/14593

Does extracting the sound folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\ work?

It seems I'm not the only spy

I added the sound folder to the Custom folder by itself and TF2 refused to start at all, citing it as the reason why.

Put it in a folder marked "DERP! Hit Sound". Still no success.

Make's method worked. Had to change the file name of the sound from "Dingaling" to "hitsound".

Now I just need to get BroeselHUD back and I'll be all set.
