Ways to improve spray quality?

Hello. Is there a way to improve the quality of sprays? When they are .tga, they look good, but as soon as I convert them to .vtf, they become not-so-eyecandy.

    • Manually convert them yourself
    • Make them 512x512
    • Don't generate mipmaps
    • If DXT5 is giving you shit, change it to 256x256 and use RGBA8888 instead.

    I used to have problems with my spray being pixelated, then I used the photoshop vtf plugin from nem's tools. For whatever reason that makes a good spray.
