    YER DOING IT WRONG.

    1. Install and open CGFScape
    2. With CGFScape, open the 'team fortress 2 materials' Game Cache File located in your steamapps folder.
    3. Navigate your way to tf/materials/vgui/crosshairs folder
    4. Extract all the files you need.
    5. Fuck off

If you still dont understand let me spell it out for you....

I believe you're looking in the wrong place. What Devieus originally asked you to open was the materials/vgui folder in the "team fortress 2 materials" GCF file. This file is located in your steamapps folder, and is where the default files for TF2 is located. You need GCFScape to open GCF files. Obviously, this wasn't very clear from Devieus' comment.

I'm just going to take a wild guess and say that FallDown is having a bad day. What you did is logical if you were not aware of the GCF files. Could we all calm down now?

Again, you're looking in your team fortress 2/tf/materials/vgui folder. This is not the correct folder to look in. Go to your steamapps folder (remember to install GCFScape beforehand), find the "team fortress 2 materials" GCF file and open it. Then find the materials/vgui folder in the GCF file.

Take a step back, read what people are actually saying, that image you posted is not the correct folder to look in. You're just looking in the wrong place, as previously mentioned! IT IS THERE! Good luck!

You want to go to Program Files x86\Steam\Steamapps then look for the teamfortress 2 materials.gcf
