Wierd bug with one/some of Scouts sound effects
By Gamefreek24 1 year agoI need some help involving sound errors. On servers that allow voice mods, some of the Scout's vocal sounds end up sounding like they are fast-forwarded, following with random ear rape noises. I checked in the tf folder for any sound files modifying Scout sounds, but did not find any. Any help?
I have never heard anything like this..try verifying the games catche?
Are they modded audio files? Or stock Scout audio files?

I think they're just stock Scout files. curse no double-posting And I don't know what a Cache is, I'm rather new to the technical part of sound modding.

It might be the server itself.
Only thing I can think of is that you have custom sounds and the server you are playing on is pure, as this is a thing that occurs with pure servers.
It means the servers are avpure 1 Yes they are. You need to go to a server that is svpure 0 To test this, download a skin, and join a server. If that skin does not work, it means the server is forcing consistency against the mod.
I'm also having this problem, and whenever I hear those high pitch fast forward sounds (not the mothman engineer) after a few minutes the game will suddenly crash.
