I has idea for a spy weapon! *update*

Instead of the trusty old sapper

i call it, Rebelios (if you have any names to suggest.. post'em)

acts like the ordinary sapper.. only instead of making the building malfunction.. it makes it attack its owner and the opposing team

but this new technology requiers more power and the new sapper will run out of juice much faster

and it can be removed with one wrench swing because all the new components are very fragile, and if the engie doesnt want to risk diying, team members with explosive weapons can remove the Rebelios with one shot (while sacraficing some of its health)

here it is simplified:

When sapping, it makes the building malfunction and attack its owner and the opposing team

will only damage the building to HALF of its health (even if the health point is currently 51 out of 100, it will drop to 50) and if its lower than half of the health points. it wont damage at all (but will still make it attack its owner and the opposing team)

and it breaks off with one swing of the wrench (or when hit by explosive weapons, not including the damage done by the same team that the spy is (which placed the Rebelios)) but if its hit by an explosive weapon when its being sapped, it will take damage (but not as strong as it usually does) (only by the same team as the building)

UPDATE:

added another thing:

you cant place it while youre disguised

that would balance it out

    I had a sapper idea along time ago. Here it is:

    Water Sapper +200% Faster -50% HP

    Special: Does -25 Electric Damage to engineers repairing any nearby buildables.

    My idea is that the sapper would have some kind of water infused with it that would electrocute enemies on contact. Maybe having an engineer unlockable that like makes their wrench swing time longer or something that makes their glove immune.

    That Rebelios sapper sounds bad. It would make any well placed sentry completely useless while it could have been hard work to get it there. And even if the spy isnt disquised its still overpowered. sap and stab is the most effective tactic and will allways make you able to sap quick anyway (as at the stab you already lose your disguise).

    The water sapper is bad also. Its a overpowered version of the normal sapper. Even if a engy has to hit once its still possible to make it damage the sentry for half a second which deals the same damage. This makes it even harder to defend the sentry already and the extra damage for repairing it makes it 100% overkill.

    I dont know why the sapper needs to be stronger and faster. If its stronger it needs to be weaker on a other point. I rather would have a sapper like this: + Deals 150% damage - The sentry doesnt get fully disabled but slows down by 50% The damage is the powerfull part. the disabling is the part removed replaced by a slow down

    Not a very good Idea, due to the fact that your sapper does Both damage to the sentry and to the other team, Making it very overpowered.

    For Example:

    The Regular sapper only does Damage to the sentry and disables it, the Rebilous will make it impossible to repair if it's a Level 3 sentry. (the Engy and others will get killed by the rockets and bullets) Also, You really didn't add enough Cons. (Other than the one hit wrench thing.)

    I was thinking something along the same lines. Takes out a strategically placed sentry and turns it into yours. That could totally turn the tide of a battle... Perhaps if you make a disable sapper and a re-enable sapper so it takes twice as long... other wise there will be spy's taking sentries all over the show.

    I also thought of some sort of shield that makes you totally invisible from the front (unless you walk into an enemy, then it would unequip), it could also protect you from pyro flames for about half a second. so no more spamming! :D

    but the major downside is that you are totally vulnerable from behind and possibly 100% crit damage exposed.

    I was also thinking of a listening device you could plant on someone, to hear their teams voice or see their text chat.

    also, how about a sapper that totally disables the turret, does no damage, and takes about 5 hits to get rid of.

    It would have to be timed, like for 5 or so seconds. Would make a good distraction and a devastating weapon if controlled properly. It still sounds slightly overpowered though.

    Cons: -This sapper doesn't make any damage to the sentry

    And now time for the SPECIAL FEATURE!

    -When applied, the sentry will shoot enemies or if there's no enemies around, it will randomly shoot everything. So this sapper forces the sentry to shoot out all of it's bullets and rockets. It will take time to get the sapper off so the sentry will be without ammo until engineer wrenches off this sapper and can give more ammo to the sentry.

    It doesn't do any damage, so it's usefull only when there's teammates around that can take out the sentry while it's out of ammo.

    Or they can simply destroy the sentry and rebuild it.

    What's the points of destroying? It will take more time to rebuild and upgrade the sentry to lvl 3 than swing the wrench 5 times to remove the sapper. :)
