Alright, first off, I couldn't find the button to submit to Sprites. However, this completely changes the explosions (I mean, completely. Not just changing the textures, I changed everything.) As well as the Sprites section being generally unpopular. If anyone has a problem with it, then just delete it, and tell me how so I don't make the same mistake. The forums also give me a 404. It's honestly not my fault, it's the poor programming of the site.
THE .PCF FILES GO IN THE TF/PARTICLES FOLDER. (Which you create if you don't have one.)
THE .VTF AND .VMT FILES GO IN THE TF/MATERIALS/PARTICLES FOLDER. (Which you create again.)
DO NOT EXTRACT THEM TO THE SAME FOLDER. Speaking of which, it'd be nice if someone could tell me how to create paths in WinZip. :3
Now then! This changes the explosions to those styled to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker...That's about it.
I completely made everything from scratch.
The screenshots I feel don't do justice, so...
It's not finished. I still need to add trails on the orange debris, which I couldn't find a possible way to at the time, and just improve it over all. That will all be in V2.
Currently trying to make it turned against walls, which isn't working. The particle for walls has the Children of the regular particles, so I can't turn it without it being turned on floors, as well as it won't turn against walls facing the another direction. For right now I'm going to make Wind Waker fire, rocket trails and possibly disguise smoke, which will all be in one pack as to avoid accusations of gaining points or whatever.
I'll also be releasing other Wind Waker styled particles in the future (such as fire and rocket trails.)
v1.1 now has the large, yellow, middle particles in front of the ring of particles, which looks 5x better.
