    lol i'm arguing a year old point but if you got these from "source sounds" as opposed to "hl2 content" or something like that, it's ok. There's a lot of sounds including foley sounds that are always included in the engine, even if you only have TF2 installed.

    Taking credit has nothing to do with it, it is more of a copy-righted material porting thing.

    You could just remove the sounds from the download.
