The medigun looks weird when someone does it. btw it's only a reskin of the medigun, not a model change

Posted by Fruitree Dont worry guys. I found it out. All by myself. I'm a bigboypants. For all you DX8 users, here is how to fix it. Get GFCScape, its a free program. Take the VPK thats here, and unpack the "root" folder onto your desktop. Then, go into steam/steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2/bin and find vpk.exe. Make a shortcut of that, and put it on your desktop. Now go into the "root" folder you extracted, go into Particles, and add _dx80 to the file in there, and save that, and exit out of the folder. Drag the folder onto vpk.exe, and you should get "root.vpk". Put that in your Team Fortress 2/tf/custom folder, and it should work. Cheers!

Tried this, it does work. It removes lights on taunt but returns eyekillstreaks for prof ones, approved.

ACTUALLY, this is to fix the taunt, not killstreak. I dont care about the killstreak, this adds the custom lights instead of normal meet the medic lights for me

DevNotes

Known Bugs:

Engaging the taunt with another weapon active(Saw/Needlegun) will cause the medigun to show all wonky during the taunt, taunting while the medigun is active will address this issue.

Slight sound delay in the Ubercharge modifications nothing major.
