Love it! Seems entirely appropriate for the game, and the equip animation looks a heck of a lot better with this than the default model.
I think it could be scaled up a bit, looks rather tiny right now (for the first person view) and unable to fit on anyone's head, but its not really going to make me stop using it, either way.
I also wouldn't mind seeing it make use of the styles, simply because its there, but I have no idea what other style you could do for this other than maybe a dented brim or something.

When you made this model and tested it ingame, did you get any errors like
"Ignoring unreasonable position (x, y, z) from vphysics! (entity tf _ projectile _ cleaver)"
I'm trying to make a new model myself and it keeps giving me that in the console, and it won't show up when I throw it.
No, unfortunately I don't know what is causing your error, but good luck to you. Perhaps you should center your model and physics model at 0,0,0 ?
