An Ambassador Styled Black Rose Knife.
This was a REQUEST. Meaning I didn't make this personally, also meaning, it is free to use, but I'd rather you not rate it, considering it wasn't made for the good of gamebanana. (Or the bad. :/)
So yeah, first time skinning black rose, I'd say I didn't do so good, but that's just my opinion.

where do you find the actual weapon file :P
Look for a file named 'team fortress 2 materials.gcf', open it with a program called 'GCFScape' and extract whatever the hell you like. Also, if I may, I'd suggest using Gimp with the VTF plug-in, saves you some time fucking around with VTFEdit.

Well I was thinking of even removing the skin after the person who requested it found it and downloaded it, or decided that he/she didn't like it. It wasn't made to be a submission for everyone. I suppose I could have posted it on another site such as mediafire or something, that could have been an option
That is the more common way indeed.
i have had a few stabs with it. One thing i can say is that its got to much gleem on it. looks gray most of the time, sometimes even white :P. thanks. i might start making skins :D where do you find the actual weapon file :P

VTFedit to convert the skin, and Paint.Net to edit. I don't really like using photoshop for things like this even though I have it, I normally use Photoshop for things like youtube layouts and such, so yeah. Paint.net.

Well, I tried making the enforcer skin, Did NOT turn out well at all, enforcer is really one of the most advanced skins i've ever seen, sorry. I'll try to put more things out but right now, I'll save the enforcer for later when i'm better at this.
FANTASTIC finaly a good black rose skin. i am new to making skins. May i ask, what did you use to edit the skin?

kleiner_hl isn't wrong here, you can use the HLMV in the SDK to make a proper render.
Another reason is, this is just a plain request, I really don't want to spend time putting more work into it than i already did. The best that I did was a comparison to the dead ringer ambassador styled skin made by someone else :/
Then, what is really the point of this submission? You've fulfilled the request, but are not inclined to go the extra mile to make it a decent submission? Sounds like insufficient reason for this to exist, right?
