Plaid Heavy (REDUX)

A Re-recolor of the Heavy. Something that should be noted: The Renders make the models look like they have red spots on them. They don't in-game.

The new and improved skin includes:

    • Texture scaled down making a finer plaid
    • Texture on pants removed and replaced with a darker pair

Posted by AndrewIsGreen Also, making the gloves match would be pretty cool as well. But not sure if they are on the same file.

I'm trying to make a plaid/black kind of theme. Thanks for the advice, though.

Pretty good and all. Only thing I suggest, is try swapping the vest into plaid and shirt into a black/grey colour. Also, making the gloves match would be pretty cool as well. But not sure if they are on the same file.

Posted by HaZZaRDouZ I used itemtest, set the primary weapons of two bots, depending on what class they need to be, I used botmimic and put them into a corner to they are right next to each other and then put them into the middle of the room, turn off botmimic and put on noclip to move around and get some good screenshots.

    Cool, thanks!

Another great looking skin! Are you going to make one for each class?

Thanks! I might. If you don't mind, so I don't have to keep bothering you about screenshots, tell me how you set them up?

Use a 50% smaller pattern on both pants and the shirt, and you will have something there.

Posted by derpcat why is it in every screenshot and skin this guy makes they all have red dots in the screenies?.....anyone see that as a bit odd?

At the top, I have stated that the red dots don't show up in-game. The model viewer I use to take screenshots adds the red dots to anything black for some reason. Look at the in-game shots for a more accurate display.

Yep, I have the same. If you look closer, you'll can see that it is a fire texture (I think). And I know that fire texture could appear on deus specs with DirectX8 so maybe does the model viewer use DX8 too, I don't know :\

Posted by SpaceBunneh easy.... take a picture in fraps. or a print screen in tf2 when ur fullscreen. then upload the picture in any picture editor. lets say paint.net, then crop the picture to how you want it, or do whatever else you want to it then save. its quite easy.

What I'm asking is how he positions the bots so that they're right next to each other and on 2 different teams. Thanks for the info, though.
