My problem with some bronies is not that they like things that I do not like. I am ok with people liking things I do not like. For instance, I like metal, but I do not like deathcore, screamo, or whatever else the kids listen to these days. I like bright colors, but I'm not a huge fan of pastels. I like other languages, but I prefer learning East-European languages.

The thing that makes bronies different than those that enjoy screamo music, pastel colors, or Bantu is that those people do not spread their influence literally everywhere and then seek out ways in which they can publicly lament the ways in which they are supposedly persecuted. Now don't get me wrong- bronies do receive a lot of unnecessary negative attention. There are those that dislike bronies solely on the basis that the bronies enjoy things that they do not. However, that does not warrant that any speech made against pony fandom be deemed hateful and that you should immediately resort to ad hominem attacks labeling the person putting forth such speech. You are generalizing the outcry against My Little Pony, which is highly ironic since many of you claim that fans of My Little Pony are generalized every day. That is, some are more vocal than others. Even though the negative attention towards bronies is directed more often at the more vocal minority, by acting in the immature and butthurt fashion that you are you include yourself in this minority. Because of this, you now have no right to claim that a parasprite such as myself (and you shouldn't even be using that term in this context to begin with) hates bronies solely on the basis that they like something I don't and that I am hating in an immature fashion. In fact, I only dislike bronies like you that continue to hypocritically judge those who do not subscribe to your particular interests while labeling them "haters" and "immature" even though that is exactly how you are acting right now.

If there was ever a brony to ask why your kind are hates so much, it should not be you. You have only yourself to blame. You are the cancer.

Addendum: Even beyond the spectrum of quiet bronies to vocal bronies, there are two more kinds of brony that I dislike, and they are in the context of this specific website. They are bronies that create pony-related materials on this website that are of little-to-no artistic value and are created solely for the purpose of being related to ponies- and those that rate other pony-related materials abnormally highly solely based on the fact they are related to ponies (whether or not the materials in question actually deserve such a rating for their artistic merit). I don't usually have a problem with bronies in most places, but they seem to be worse on this website in particular. They're getting better, though. However, there are still these types of bronies. The problem with bronies in this fashion is that bronies have a propensity to band together to preserve the positive portrayal of their identity beyond the facets of logic. That is, bronies will be positive about something whether it makes sense or not. And that is why I label these specific bronies "cancer". I will say that it was a mistake to include "ponycancer" in the cons for this piece. It was a joke at best, and it did not affect my rating. However I can see why some may have seen it differently.

I don't even know what to say to that, other than if that is your tolerance to criticism of groups to which you owe your identity, it would be well within your better judgement to immediately leave the internet for a while until you feel your return is both warranted and heavily considered.
