Classeless Update Goes Live

Valve has just released The Classless Update for their hit, award winning multiplayer game, Team Fortress 2.

Features
  • A brand new Game Mode: King of the Hill
  • 18 new hats! Fire up the idling programs kids!
    • -- See the Full List of Hats.
  • 4 new maps, including ctfsawmill and KotHNucleus
  • Brand new losing animations to the losing team
    • -- Cry Some More!
  • Many other goodies such as Additions/Changes, Item Reworks, Map Changes, Bug Fixes, and Community Requests

    They should had improved the classes and more important things than hats D: . I like the new hats and the KOTH gamemode but i wold love a Engineer or Soldier update :D

    The whole special weapons at random update was not cool in my opinion, this on the other hand gives... Well hats! So my heavy doesn't have to burn his head in the sun anymore... Cool

    I kind of agree, the updates are free and we are lucky to get them for no charge, unlike Xbox 360 owners. This update is pure gold, they nerfed the class I hate as a Spy and buffed the class that I always play, the Spy.

    I don't know how you people do it, but I simply can not adapt to FPS on a console, I need a keyboard and mouse.

    • Clip-based weapons that reload a full clip at a time can now have their reloads aborted by firing.
    • Capturing the flag in a CTF game mode gives the entire capturing team 10 seconds of critboost.
      • Added current map name and gametype to the bottom right of scoreboard.
    Crappy Updates
    • "Engineers wrenching a teleporter will repair the other end as well, and remove Sappers from both if they exist." - so now if a spy saps your teleporter and succeeds in detroying it, you have to go all the way back to the spawn point to make a new teleporter: BullCrap!
    • "Force of Nature: The enemy knockback now only `works in close range and behaves more like the Pyro's air blast." - only works close range? its now worthless!
    • "Sandman: Übercharged players can no longer be stunned." - that was the single reason that i used this weapon, and now its useless.
    • "Sandman: The negative attribute has changed from no double jump to -30 max health" - oh good, another reason not to use the sandman

    You bitch way too much dude. we are lucky as they give us all these updates for free and when ever bitchs like u call the update horrible all it does is discouruges others to play the damn game plus it just pisses off valve because they work hard i wish u didnt get any updates AT ALL!

    The Big Hurt - Stun 25 Ubercharged Enemies

    Well, that doesn't have to be a medic uber charged. If a heavy makes a KGB kill, the crit buff is counted as an ubercharge by the game, it may be a lot more rare to see than a normal uber, but that is the only way as far as I see it. On the bright side, if you were to farm this (like myself to unlock the weapons), then this is easier to do with a heavy than a medic.
