Rocket Rumble b1

Steel, stone and scorching lava...

This vast arena was constructed by ancient beings amidst an ocean of lava. Though they are long gone, blood still splatters within these walls...

Rocket Rumble, inspired by the classic Quake map "Amphi", is a one-on-one map specially designed for Soldier duels. It features one central platform, four low spawn platforms, and four high pillars, and is designed only for the most skilled of Soldier players.

Try not to burn to death in the lava.

Interesting concept, I like it. As a high level Quake player, I can already see myself playing it and the certain unique situations that would occur by using the differentiating heights. Gameplay wise the map will be fine. However I feel as though the aesthetics of the map could be improved. I understand that you want the lava, and so do I - but it feels out of place without any of it producing any red/warm light onto the other objects in the room. Plonk some lights around in certain places that makes the objects look more in place. Just blend the warm red/orange colour onto the light brown pillars. I'm stuck with words as to how to describe it, so probably this image may do that trick?.

Yeah, I was considering adding some lighting to make the lava seem more luminous. I'll add it in the next version, thank you for the feedback!
