One day, the Team Fortress 2 universe collided with the Super Meat Boy universe. This map is the result...

Think of this map more as a single player experience, as having more than 4 players is almost guaranteed to crash the engine.

I tried to experiment how big I could make a TF2 map, Super Meat Boy themed. Hundreds of entities, hundred of hours, spaced on 3 weeks.

Somehow, even though the result is disappointing for my ambitions, I feel like I accomplished something great.

    I appreciate, but what I need is time and motivation. Though if I ever get both, I've already got a plan to finish that map: By having all players in the same team, I can remove half of each zones, thus I can make twice more zones.

    ......That....is quite an idea I haven't considered. In fact, I could maybe almost double the map's size by doing that, and add the missing chapters. I need to gather some motivation first, it's true that I haven't mapped in a while, and that one map was quite a marathon, (I made the whole map in a month, never done another map this fast) so even if I start working on it it should take a while, but thanks for the idea. I'll consider it.

    Well, have you seen mariokart recently? The blimp and the shells are... derping is the best way to describe it, but the blimp is now spinning and the shells are rotated 90 degrees so that the front edge points upwards. For the slugs in SMB, as they go around the blocks, they occasionally have their bottoms facing upwards while being on top of the block. I believe it was around the time of the Hatless update that this started happening, and maps made after that time don't have the bug. I can show you sometime if you want.

    Oh right, you mean the red blobs in the Hospital level? yeah, I noticed that, there is the same problem with Brony in the final room of the Factory (he never changes his orientation). I have no idea what it causing it and i probably won't work on a fix because 1) of my current projects and school 2) it doesn't break gameplay.

DevNotes

All models used in this map were made by myself using 3DS Max 9. The soundscape is made of tracks from the original soundtrack of Super Meat Boy (I bought the OST). 99% of the textures come from the game too. I do not own the music nor the textures.

The best workaround for the crash due to the entity limit would be to make one map per world. But I don't have the time to start such a project right now.
