    • Hello! This mod looks really great, but it won't work for me. I think this is due to not being updated, so if you would please update this, that would be great. Thanks!

    You don't need anything in the "resource" file. You really only need the stuff in the "materials" folder. Everything in the "resource" file has indeed been broken by updates, but they don't change the fact that the animated NMH2 heart replaces your health bar.

    Posted by CREAMGRAVEH I have the e.v.e HUD http://code.google.com/p/eve-tf2hud/ and this is having a conflict with it. The background of the normal health bar with this HUD is a red or blue cross, (on team, duh.) but it shows in the corner behind the heart. Can anyone mess with the HUD files and tell me how to remove that damn cross? Thanks.

    Oh boy. This issue is a bit tricky.

    First of all, you'll need a .RES file editor. Preferably Notepad++. I use that to edit my own stuff.

    Once that's downloaded and installed, look for the file called "HudPlayerHealth". The location should be as follows: Steam/steamapps/YOURUSERNAME/team fortress 2/tf/resource/ui/HudPlayerHealth. Go ahead and open that file with Notepad++ (right click the file and select it that way).

    Once you open it, you're looking for two different domains: "PlayerStatusClassImageBG" and "PlayerStatusClassImageBG2". Under both of them, look for the variables "visible" and "enabled". Set their values from "1" to "0" and save the changes. Now the bars on the health will disappear!

    Hope that helps!

    The cross background is in evehud itself not the this. If you want to remove the cross you'll have to scour through the the evehud files yourself and find it.

    Canadian Brony. I'm sorry, eh?

    Posted by TechPac624 I'm loving this health counter. It's different, and I'm glad someone made a health meter based of No More Heroes. The only problem I'm having is that the actual number counter doesn't seem to show up. It's not a big deal though, and the heart is still pretty awesome.

    Same problem here. :/ Wish i knew what my health was before rushing into battle. Still, awesome.

    Hi, I just joined, and one reason why is so i can save people from this! If you want to see your health in numbers on the heart, poot the "ui" file you get from downloading this into the tf2 file itself and not the "resource" file. Now you'll see that the HUD health is working with the lovely heart, once more.

    I'm a little confused. Okay, you take the UI folder out of "Resources," but where do you put it? In materials, hud, what?

    Into TF2. You know, where all the files start in, like Resources.

    I tried that. It didn't work. D: I'll try putting it in tf2 folder that has "tf" and that stuff in it instead and see if that works.

    Edit: Nope. Still doesn't work. :/

    Sorry, I meant to say in the tf file itself. ^-^;
